"World Wide" style. The Hallicrafters TW-1000 is a 5 tube 8 band portable receiver. Designed to be competitive for receivers such as the Zenith Trans-Oceanic. It has a flip top with the world map. The TW-1000 featured a "Dynamic" turret tuner, a built in ferrite rod loop antenna, removable "Skyrider" antenna for use in automobiles, a Telescoping whip antenna for the short wave bands.
