The RCA and the Westinghouse next to it are identical. The one is open to show the compact design. There are the new miniature tubes. It used both a 1.5 Volt battery and a 67.5 volt battery.
As the first truly personal radio, it set the standard for all small portable radios that followed. Several hundred thousand were sold.
