The Edison Disk Phonographs were after the cylinder players and meant to compete with the 78 rpm records of the competition. These records are 1/4 inch thick. The stylus moves vertically compared to the other's horizontal movement. Not interchangeable.

A very decorative cabinet, gilt reproducer and fittings, double spring motor, electric lamp.
