The Lightning Adding Machine Co, Inc. A very popular mechanical adding machine from the 1940's. Seven dials represent $99,999.99. The 1950's version has a pull lever to clear the numbers and the ability to subtract.
To add, insert a stylus at the right digit and turn the dial clockwise until it hits the stop. Repeat for all digits and all numbers. The device will automatically carry / increment when a wheel goes from nine to ten.
